A short and sweet weather update to end the week today, in so few words; it's going to be a gorgeous weekend! Expect spring-like weather with temperatures in the low 80's in a few spots but mainly upper 70's. Winds should be light on Friday and Saturday with breezy conditions on Sunday in advance of some unsettled weather moving back in during the week.

A very large high pressure ridge will bring great weather to the Western U.S. this week and especially Colorado.

By the middle of next week we see a transition back to a cooler and wetter pattern, doesn't look like much in the way of snow or super cold temperatures but we have a decent chance of seeing a bit of rain and possibly some thunderstorms.

In the middle of the week a new trough slides into the four-corners region and should bring the area unsettled weather.

Just like every storm system, the ultimate track the storm ends up on dictates how much rain or thunderstorms we will see, but suffice to say as of right now it looks like better than a 50% chance. We will see if that changes in the coming days. For now, plan on an amazing weekend to do things outdoors but expect the middle of next week to be a bit soggy.

Have a great weekend everyone!
